TS 2 error popping up on me ...

Maybe someone has had this happen or may have heard of it......

here is the scenerio....

I start TS overlay...
Then TS2....
Then Track IR....
Then IL2 via HL or private IP....

After a few seconds to a minute I will then get a pop up error that states.....

Titled TS2
Access Violation at address 7C80A278 in module "kernel32.dll" write of address 03180000


The message says TS2 but when this poops up my Track IR stops working....
and TS keeps working.

Now when I do not use TS overlay This message never poops up......

Am I going crazy ??? lol

or is the fix not to use TS overlay ?

Maybe you could try the new TrackIR 5 software? or maybe theres a newer version of TS overlay or TS? other than that I guess you can't use the overlay cause it must be better to see than to know who is talking.

first I am wrong in my post for I said Track IR when I shoulld have said FreeTrack...sorry about that....

After doing more looking lastnight before flying I find that when it all ir on it all works....

UNLESS I minimize the game and try to bring up the FreeTrac window...that's when the error pops up.



SO..... I keep the game up and the windows down! Worked for me fine all last night.

Fire up TS first, then the overlay, and see if this helps. The overlay might need a target.

I ditched the TS Overlay for the TSDisplay as it seems to each up less resources than TS Overlay.

If you keep having issues with TS Overlay you may want to switch. TS Display has less features, but it seems to take less resources during a game.

I had a similar problem, but after deleting TS Overlay, downloading and installing a new copy the problem went away.

TS Display worked great.
For giggles now I can switch to any window ,desktop etc etc and did not get any error messages...

No thrills and frills like you said but the solid little window was easier for me to see too and did the trick ! !
