S!~ All,
It was brought to my attention that the P-40E Field Mod was used by the Russians and did not see action over North Africa. In addition, the P-40E Field Mod is just a little too "Über" for this plane set. So, it has been removed and replaced with another variant of the Tomahawk (Tomahawk Mk IIa).

That's fair Tiger, that p-40 is what they will call a "beast" against those 109's, that climb rate on that thing is monsterous! You'd think we were flying the Spit 25lbs, heh heh
.
So the tomahawk Mk IIa is it? Not bad, something to learn how to fly in, it means we got to do a bit more work in it.

I wouldn't say the P40 Field MOD is uber, but I agree with its removal. I have been discouraging pilots from using it anyway since my personal preference is the unmodded version. Tomahawks are good aircraft, the II is better than the original. They fly exactly like P40s, just slower and climb at a lower rate. But still a good boom and zoomer and one that can outturn a 109.

B-17's, B-24's, B-25's, and He-111's, flew in North Africa. However, in the game there is no concrete base to use on the MTO map, and concrete bases are required to launch one of the bombers listed, as far as I know. I'd like to have them, and I'd like to have the Hs-129 as well, but we'll have to do with what we have available for now.
