For exemplary service to the =American Volunteer Group= as Commanding Officer of the First Pursuit Squadron, and Group Commander for the =AVG=. LTC Tiger single-handedly conceptualized, designed and set-up the highly successful Normandy campaign and led the squadron through two successful tours in said campaign. LTC Tiger selflessly devoted hours of his own time to the design, and implementation of the Normandy campaign. Without his tireless efforts, many members of several squadrons would have been without valuable experience, and would most certainly have had many more free hours to do nothing all day.

Throughout the campaign LTC Tiger set an excellent example for the members of the group by upholding the highest moral and ethical standard, never succumbing to trivial games, and guiding members of the group in not doing the same themselves. His actions were in keeping with the highest standards of the =AVG= and the U.S. Army Air Forces.

Thank you very much! Although not necessary, it is greatly appreciated. And American, my first thought was about the Republic F-106 "Delta Dart" and not the girl. That's when I realized I must be getting old. :)

Republic...sad another great aircraft company now extinct. In case you are wondering what aircraft Republic has made, probably the most famous is the P-47 Thunderbolt. They also manufactured the F-84, F-105, and had name credit for the A-10 although Republic was owned and operated by Fairchild at that point.

The A-10 has gone from Thunderbolt II to Warthog,

By the way that thing is awesome up close, as long as you don't get your finger stuck in the gun chamber, and switch the missile to "armed". Hehe

Never understand why people like you "ramrod" insist on sticking your fingers down the barrel of the cannon. You realize that thing shoots depleted uranium right? As in the shit they make nuclear bombs and nuclear fuel out of?

Don't worry, you'll just be sterile and grow an extra finger.
