S~ my AVG mates, I am still alive, been going through that basic flight class with those Joint-Ops fellows. I am learning to play well with others, as the saying goes. I can't wait to get back here and start flying missions with you cats. I have picked up a couple good reads from amazon, one is "A Flying Tigers Diary" by Charlie Bond, and "Blacksheep Lost" the story of Wildman Chris MaGee, both are riveting, and the first one actually gives you a second person account of the daily grind of the AVG. I also picked up a pilots flight operating manual for the Curtis P-40, man it's crazy how close the characteristics of the IL2 plane is to the real deal.
S~ all see you soon
