I will mention the idea to my higher's but so far I see no problems.

@TIger: What's wrong with female weight-lifters :roll:

The only real problem I can see is that you run the risk of getting your ass kicked if you don't satisfy her. ;)

I believe we the RAF 209 Squadron would also like to participate in the bomber practice

We ahve gotten in some good training on our own in Level bombing missions.

If that is all right with you gents.

I think we are going to do a couple of things after talking to dougalachi.

First we should have a class on how to actually make a bomb run from start to finish. The class will be basic. It would go over keys needed, how the sight works, how BS2 works and inputs needed to make a successful run.

The other thing we would really like to do is a full scale formation bomb run. I'm talking about flying tight .1-.15 away from each other and having a lead bomber with different groups. Dropping bombs together to completely decimate a target. I would hope we could get about 15+ people to do it. It would be better with opposing fighters and escorts. No refly and just roll with it. I think finding pilots to fly cover and pilots for an attack role would be easy to come by. This, even though it sounds fun would take a lot of formation flying practice.

Of course, this joint operation would need approval from both commands.

Of course not, given the number of female weight lifters you've been with. ;)

I have notified RCAF_FB Comd of the idea. I don't foresee any problems. Sounds like a lot of fun and good training coming our way.

Ok, sounds good. I'll post more info. So as not to keep filling the Testing Murmansk 1942 thread with bomber practice talk, I'll make a new thread in our Public Forum. Here is the link: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1238
