S!~ All,
Chris Blair is the one who put "White Sun, Blue Sky" together. It was his second offering. The first was "When Tigers Could Fly" and I recommend it as well. It has several single missions that are quite i nteresting. I made a movie using one of them which you can view here;

Chris also did skins for the add-ons which can be found at mission4today.com. The attention to detail is outstanding and I highly recommend that you use them.

S~ I love this campaign so much it inspired me to start work on a campaign based on the book Sharks over China, the story of how the AVG was inducted into the 23rd.

The 'real' story or a hollywood story? On the whole the AVG was treated like crap by officialdom and resigned enmass due to Clayton Bissell's threats and the new guys arriving questioning the AVG's patriotism for wanting a leave period before transferrring to USAAF control.

Re: White Sun Blue Sky Single Player AVG Campaign
I have been doing some research on the whole AVG/23rd affair, I have read over Charlie Bonds diary, first hand accounts from Tex and the boys, and it all started with a book from a yard sale. the title is Sharks over China, and its written by Carl Molesworth, I had the honor of meeting some pilots from todays 23rd, the fly A-10s with the sharks mouth on the front still. This daggone campaign makin is rough though, I have to keep going back and re-reading bits and parts, have a buttload of missions, and still ain't up to getting em into p-51's yet. You are correct about them getting the shaft though coleslaw, but ole leather face was always a thorn in the mans side, and I believe all of em down to Stillwell took it out on em because of his past with authority figures, most of the ole AVG guys stepped up though, and stayed a little extra so the new guys would not be a flappin in the wind. True Heroes in my book. S~
