Server commands causing kick

hi all,

had my first fly on Crimea campaign tonight. Each time I enter a server command such as recon>air or gunstat etc I get kicked immediately. I have tried sending to ALL and SERVER. Same thing each time

EDIT!!!! Seems I wasn't logging on and this was causing the problem.
